Oat and Choc Chip Cookies

A very good friend of mine (who is a chef and a cycling athlete) tested these cookies and said, “whole family loves them”.
These cookies contain only natural ingredients and are free of trans fats, hydrogenated oils an artificial colours and flavours which are common in unhealthy snacks.

Recipe:
100g of unsalted butter at room temperature
¼ cup of brown sugar or stevia
1 cup of rolled oats
¾ of plain wholemeal organic flour
½ teaspoon of bicarb soda
1 Cup of chopped walnuts and choc chips or chopped walnuts and cocoa nibs or chia seeds
2 eggs

Method:
Pre-Heat oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a flat oven tray by covering with baking powder. Cream butter and sugar in an electric mixer or by hand. Add all remaining ingredients into a bowl or mixer and combine. Use food handling gloves to roll into small balls and place on tray. Press down slightly with a fork. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
